A true expression of this classic Iberian varietal, grown amidst the warm, rolling floodplains of the Estrella District in Paso Robles. Pale gold straw hues in the glass offer aromas of green apple, lychee and delicate white flowers, white pepper, and a hint of sea breeze. On the palate find bright flavors of stone fruit, lemon meringue and honeydew with a subtle minerality. The focused acidity leads to a crisp, clean finish. Cold fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve Albariño’s fresh varietal character. Ultra-limited, with less than 200 cases available.

Vintage Notes:

A cooler 2023 growing season here in Paso Robles started and finished later with some historic rainfalls driving impressive yields. Higher than average temperatures in July and October pushed ripening along nicely before a very late harvest. The results were well worth the wait with remarkable fruit structure and notable flavor maturation. The 2023 vintage stands out as a true gem for Paso Robles.
