2022 Serial Willow Creek District Syrah
Sourced from the limestone-rich slopes of Paso Robles’ Willow Creek District, this Syrah is both brooding and electric. Deep ruby hues hint at the power within, as bold aromas of dried dark fruit, Shiro plum, cassis, and black pepper rise from the glass, punctuated by notes of licorice and savory jerky. The palate is dark and dynamic—Stella cherry, purple berries, and cola wrapped in layers of nutmeg, lavender, and graphite. A taut mineral entry slowly unfurls, merging structured tannins with a vibrant acidic thread. The finish is firm, fresh, and lingering, leaving behind an impression of tension and depth. Only 150 cases produced.
