Cabernet Sauvignon thrives in the westside Willow Creek District, with cool ocean air and calcium-rich soils with high drainage. This inaugural vintage presents a deep ruby color, anticipating aromas of red and black berries, pitted fruits, cigar box, and crushed stone. On the palate, it reveals rich flavors of boysenberry, bramble, violets, baking spices, and a hint of truffle. The texture is both supple and commanding, with a remarkable balance of weight, acidity, and tannin. The wine expands impressively through the mid- and back-palate, and the tannins evolve gracefully into a persistent, sophisticated finish. Ultra limited availability, with less than 150 cases produced.
