This inaugural vineyard-designate Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Defiance Vineyard in the southeast reaches of Paso Robles’ Creston District. Medium ruby hues in the glass anticipate aromas of black plum, fresh dates, and rosemary. The palate reveals intense flavors of Crème de cassis and blackberry compote complemented by notes of suede leather. Striking tension betweenacidity and structured tannins creates a lively mid-palate that expands into a long, evolving finish. Notable aging potential. Limited availability, with only 225 cases produced.
