This estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon from Deseo Vineyard in Paso Robles’ Estrella District was our first release from the site—just 300 cases—and helped establish Serial’s roots in the region. Deep ruby-purple in the glass, it opens with aromas of black currant, peppercorn, and tobacco leaf, layered with notes of cedar and cigar box. On the palate, black cherry is supported by hints of vanilla and spice. Aged in a mix of French and American oak, it shows depth and structure, with firm tannins and a fresh, lifted finish built for aging.
