From the iconic Halter Ranch estate on the limestone-studded slopes of the Adelaida District. Deep purple hues anticipate a bouquet of black fruit, plum, and chocolate-covered espresso bean. The palate opens with bold, brooding flavors of blackberry cobbler, crushed violet, and graphite. Freshness and energy relax into the finish with plush, feathery tannins. Aged for 22 months in 45 percent new French oak barrels. Limited, only 175 cases produced.
