A beautiful expression of this classic Iberian grape, grown in the rolling floodplains of the Estrella District. The hue dances between deep straw and pale yellow in the glass. Aromas of white peach and lemon pith gain complexity with accents of sea spray and white pepper. A crisp palate displays focused acidity with flavors of nectarine and honeysuckle. The mouthfeel broadens into the finish with alluring hints of minerality and beeswax. Cold fermented and aged in stainless steel for a refreshing varietal character. Ultra-limited, only 175 cases produced.
Vintage Notes: The 2022 growing season in Paso Robles was one of the warmest in recent years, marked most notably by a sustained heat wave that landed in early September. Spring frosts coupled with dry conditions produced lower yields and small, intensely flavored berries. This vintage is ultimately characterized by fruit-forward wines with fine complexity.
